0Thailand has introduced new visa measures to promote tourism in Thailand and stimulate the economy. To make traveling to Thailand easier—whether for tourism, work, business, or study—the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced four new Thailand visa measures, effective from 15 July 2024.

Visa Exemption - 93 countries

Stay in Thailand not exceeding 60 days
Enter for tourism
Enter for business and short-term work as specified by the Department of Employment (Work that is Necessary/Urgent/Special)
Can be extended once for an additional 30 days by applying through the Immigration Bureau

Issued to international students who study at Thai higher education institutions at the bachelor's degree level or higher.
Re-Entry Permit is not required during the course of study.
The educational institution will handle the extension of stay applications on behalf of the student.
After graduation, students can extend their stay in Thailand for an additional 1 year.

Issued to foreigners who wish to stay in Thailand for work and travel simultaneously (must have a specified occupation).
Allows a stay of up to 180 days per visit.
Can be used to travel in and out of Thailand multiple times within 5 years.
