Announcement of 4 New Visa Measures, Effective from 15 July 2024 Onwards

0Thailand has introduced new visa measures to promote tourism in Thailand and stimulate the economy. To make traveling to Thailand easier—whether for tourism, work, business, or study—the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced four new Thailand visa measures, effective from 15 July 2024.

Visa Exemption - 93 countries

  • Stay in Thailand not exceeding 60 days

  • Enter for tourism

  • Enter for business and short-term work as specified by the Department of Employment (Work that is Necessary/Urgent/Special)

  • Can be extended once for an additional 30 days by applying through the Immigration Bureau
