In the first volume of this book, there are 15 lessons. Starting from basic beginner level foundation, the first 10 lessons focus on pronunciation and then enter the stage of grammar and sentence pattern building. The style of each lesson includes texts, new words, notes, pronunciation/grammar, exercises, etc. The texts are mainly practical conversations, which cover the most useful fields of grammar and words. New words are all basic common words. There are a variety of exercises designed with questions, including comprehension, dialogue, and communicative exercises.
